I'm a self taught artist, although, I went to the Seattle Art Institute for awhile and learned much about graphic design. Geared toward advertising, it didn't really appeal to my more abstract and whimsical leanings.

My passion for glass began in a tiny shop in Wolf Creek, Oregon. I saw some dichroic pieces and fell in love. I began experimenting using an old burn out furnace, enamels, copper, and polymer clay. There was a small bit of science but mostly it was just Magic and Me.

The pieces I make... transform me. We change each other. They emerge, and through this process I begin to understand the energy of them and understand more and more, my own purpose.
